So what are my chances at the DC schools:Georgetown, GW and American?

Does Jesus really love me? He is my new homy. Yay!:)
I dont want to be harsh....but you have a slim to none chance of acceptance at Gerogetown. Now I will tell you why, although I am sure you are already aware. Your math and writing scores are entirely too low. And your GPA is not great...Georgetown wont look kindly upon a C.
I think you have a chance at GW and American, your extracurriculars are really good. If you can bring up at least your writing score, you would have a better chance. Show a lot of interest. Good Luck.

In at GW and American, not at Georgetown.

Go to GW!

GreenDayFan, I am sure you know that Georgetown is not looking at the writing score for the new SATs.

hey jesus, have you thought about catholic university?

Anyone else??

what M+W would probably get u $ at GW?

Like ranges/estimates

bump

You have the exact same score I did in terms of Math and Verbal (700 V, 660 M). It's not an impossible shot to Georgetown, but it will be rather difficult nonetheless. Not impossible, however, simply by the fact that I'm typing this from New South and will have class in, um, 10 minutes. I'd better go.

PM me if you'd like to talk, I don't log on CC much.

doogie - my sister got into the honors program and a $10,000 scholarship from GW with a 1490 (750V/740M). Her unweighted GPA was between 3.6 and 3.8

bah, i have 200 points lower, same GPA, and very very very good EC's, so i doubt ill get money (650 M, 640 V)

She had pretty good EC's with definite passion. And she got into SMPA.

Anyone have anymore input?
