de anza folks!

hey all,

if you go to de anza write a message..hah so many de anza ppl use this website. it'd be cool if we kept in touch with each other since school and apps are right around the corner. who knows maybe we've been in each others classes and just don't know it!

This fall will be my first term at De Anza. Looking forward to it :).

nice nice
if you need any help planning out your years here just personal message me..the counselors here suck don't listen to em..trust me

haha ok. will do. do you have AIM?

yeah i have aim

I posted this message on the old de anza thread before i saw this one. but yeah

Yea, this fall will be my first official quarter. I took classes over the summer to get ahead though. I took counseling 100 last week and I signed up for classes already. I think we were the first set of counseling group, right behind all the athletes that gets priority registration. how about you bearclaw15? Any tips/advices about de anza that people want to share? Easy/fun classes/professors that you recommend taking?

let your shouuuuulder lean

let your shouuuuulder lean

go dons! bruah!

ill be going there this fall as a freshman trying to transfer to UCLA/UCB for ME

Wow that's a lot of De Anza people here..
May I ask where De Anza is? :x

De Anza is in Cupertino, 40 mins away from San Francisco.

Oh okay, cool. I recognize Cupertino as being the headquarters of Apple computers too.

YUP, and 13 mins away is Yahoo's headquarters in Santa Clara && 7 mins away in Mountain View, Google is giving everyone who lives there free wireless internet. I love Silicon Valley. =)

Geez nerd central USA!
I kid :p
You lucky bastaards.
When are you guys starting school?

Sept. 25.
we're on the qurater system, but starting this fall, De Anza is using the +/- scale instead of just soild grades. so an A- would be a 3.7 . booo.

Taking classes online this fall through Foothill -- does that count? :P

Personally, I've had the +/- system throughout all of my schooling. I didn't have it for the first time this past year. It was great, but a B will kill you.

De Anza is a CCC right? I gues it's kinda good in a way to have the quarter system so you'll get used to the grading and quarter system when you transfer to the UC'S, CSU's and etc.

Yep, De Anza's a CCC. I went there for the past few quarters, though I'm not sure if I'm returning this fall. Good school, but there seems to be more options available (in terms of transferring out) through Foothill.

cool, good luck at foothill! I've heard of these NorCal CC's, just never knew it was at NorCal.

yeah, foothill has Tap and all sorts of programs with socal schools. It's weird that De anza doesn't since they're sister schools.

whats there to do around de anza....where does everyone hang out. ive never really been around cupertino so i get lost alot :)
