De Anza or foothill?

I'm a high school senior student who lives in Belmont. I wanna study at either De Anza or foothill and then transfer to UCLA. Before finding a roommate to rent an apartment together, I needa take train and buses to go there. it's a bit more convenient to get to De Anza than foothill. How helpful is footfill's TAP program? In general, which school should i choose?

A lot of students take classes at both, depending on what’s offered and where they can get seats. Pick somewhere that’s close to both?

TAP gives you a significant boost in your odds of admission. It also allows you to specify an alternate major when being considered for admission. If it was me I would try to do it.

One question though. If you’re going to get an apartment, then you can live anywhere. You’re not tied to the bay area. If UCLA is your eventual goal, why not go to a CC down in Southern California?

@mikemac my family lives here so they don’t allow me to move all the way there. @failure622 I understand lots of students take class at both, but they need to have a “home institute”. I wanna know how many foothill students actually sign the TAP with UCLA.

The first thing you should ask yourself is what are you going to major in and make sure that CCC has the prerequisites for that major.

both cc have the prerequisites for that major.

TAP is only considered if you are applying for the college of Letters and Science.
