De Anza vs. Foothill?

Hi I am a high school student and I live in palo altos and was wondering what the difference is between de anza and foothill? Are the courses different at the schools or is there something offered at one school that is better than the other?

They are very similar, although there are courses offered at one but not the other. They are unusual among California community colleges in being on the quarter system (like most UCs except UCB and UCM, but like only a few of the CSUs).

You can check http://www.assist.org to see which community colleges offer the best coverage of courses for your intended major at your target UCs and CSUs.

I visit both regularly, and agree, quality same, courses different. Their reputations are high around here.
