deadline crisis

so im not done with my app yet, maybe i wont be done until 2 or 3 days before the deadline, but i have all my school forms and recs in sealed envelopes b/c my school gave them to me to send. im worried that if i wait any longer to send those they might not get there in time (ive had bad experiences with the post office). so can i submit the part of the app that has the personal info first, and send all the school forms, and complete the app and supplement a few days later??

well i haven't even started my essays but all the school forms have already been sent. so. i dun know. if stanford can't handle that than screw them.

Yes. Once everything is all said and done with, Stanford will sort and match the various components of your application and attach them to your name.

Sometime in February, you'll be able to check if your application is complete or not. If anything is missing, you'll have a chance to resubmit it. But, to avoid any delays and etc., If I were you, I would strive to get everything turned in before/by the deadline.

oh ya. and doesn't stanford make you turn in the whole application at once? i'm pretty sure it does/

I think you can send in your school forms at different times.

Sorry to sorta hijack your thread, but I got an email saying that the Stanford Admissions Office will be closed from 22 Dec to 2 Jan for the winter break. Does that mean I can't send the forms by DHL or overnight mail because there won't be anyone there?

You have to submit both online parts at the same time, but you obviously cannot control exactly when your recommendations, etc. arrive in the mail.
