<p>Hi, I got an email from Northwestern saying they extended their deadline until tonight (6th). I couldn't find any other information about that, there website still says the first, so does anyone know anything about that, and whether it's official? Common app still says 1/1/14 deadline, so I'm worried it won't accept an application. Thanks!</p>
<p>I got a email from northwestern on Jan 1 saying that they extended the deadline to Jan 5th at midnight. So the deadline was last night. You could probably still submit it and they would assume common app problems resulted in your late submission.</p>
