<p>If you intend to apply to Northwestern, please note that only the Common Application itself and the application fee (or acceptable fee waiver) must be submitted by midnight tonight. You will have an additional two weeks to submit the other components of the application (recommendations, supplement, etc.).</p>

<p>When they say "supplement" are they talking about the essay supplement, or the school forms and stuff?</p>

I think they mean the supplement essay too!
But I’m scared to be late because on common app website, the deadline for the supplement is still 01/01/10 – will the option to submit it be “grayed out” once its 01/02? Does anyone have any experience? Will the common app website let you submit in late?</p>
<p>I have no idea. My supplement is ready, and I could submit it now, but I’m going to hold it back anyway. Just so I can read through it again and again.</p>
<p>Hi! I just registered right now so I could post because I am freaking out. I finished the Northwestern statement for the supplement at around 11:50 but when I tried to upload it there was an error, so I emailed it to the office of admission at like 12 exactly but then I was able to upload it a few minutes later on the common app. </p>
<p>blue_box, was that an email you got from Northwestern? if so, then I think I’m in luck. when they say supplement they probably mean the actual supplement to the common app.</p>
<p>Also, in Evanston it is one hour earlier than me (florida) so maybe the deadline is midnight their time? which is about half an hour from now.</p>

<p>Yes, I got it from Northwestern. The supplement can be sent late (the actual supplement) so you’re in luck, yes. Good luck with your applications too.

<p>And yes, I had sent in the actual common application a few days before, i was just left with the supplement.</p>
