Deadline for Accepting the financial aid award

Do you also have to mail back the signed financial aid award letter by May 2nd?

lol, i guess if you want the money to be tranfered to your account ASAP. then you should submit it ASAP too......

when u get finaid/scholarships they transfer money to your account?!!!

i thought they just deducted it from the tuition..

it would crazy if they transfered it to your account

They just deduct it from your tuition. You'll be able to see your uptodate statement when you have access to ACES.

But i got more than the basical tuition nothing including livving expenses.. so how are they gona send those money to me if not transfering it to my account........?

I emailed the Financial Aid Assistant Director.

She responded, "There is no set date by when we need to receive the signed award letter. The important thing is that the admission reply card is postmarked by the due date."

So there really is no deadline.

k, thank you.

Hi guys

I had the same question regarding deadline for aid letter too

anyway, I have faxed my reply card and have been listed as an enrolled student in the Duke community page
so, I guess I can send the reply card a couple of days later right?

I just heard it doesn't matter when you send anything, is that true?

Yes, that is true. Scroll up and read my earlier post. Those words are directly out of the mouth of the Assistant Director Kelly Kay.
