Deadline for "To Do List" transcripts

<p>I'm in a situation where I am cutting the deadline for the transcripts really close and I'm afraid that if I don't send them on time then I won't be able to accept the financial aid packages that they offered me. </p>

<p>I plan to fax the Independent Verification form by tomorrow but it states that it may take up to 3 days for it to process and the deadline is on April 5th! Is this a problem? Will they still accept it?</p>

<p>Also, I haven't gotten my Parent's Tax Return Transcripts yet as I am still waiting for them to arrive via mail. Will Umass Amherst revoke my financial aid or can I just send in the 1040A copy of the tax return as a temporary supplement?</p>

<p>Lastly, I don't work so that means I don't have to send a Student Tax Return correct?</p>

<p>Did you try to email the Office of Financial Aid and tell them about your situation? Maybe they can make a special note on your file so that doesn’t happen. That’s what I would do. I did that for Boston University and they were nice enough to do just that.</p>
