<p>This might be a stupid question...but what are my options if deadlines are coming up to reply to offers of admissions if I am still waiting to hear from other schools? I got into NYU and UNC and I need to send my letters out early next week (monday), but I am still waiting on Chicago and Northwestern...do I have any options? what if I dont hear from either school by the deadlines? can I say yes to one of those schools and then not go if I get into Chicago?</p>
<p>You can. I've done it before. its bad form but if thats what you need to do, than go for it. Also, yuou should email chicago and NU and see if htey can reply faster.</p>

<p>Some schools will give you an extension on the reply date. Others won't. Can't hurt to call and ask.</p>
