Long story short, due to not having enough AP transfer credits as a freshmen, I ended up registering late, which meant me getting locked out of quite a few of the classes I wanted to take with the good/popular professors because their classes filled up before even a lot of freshmen could register! So for next semester I am now kind of stuck taking some core classes for my major with a few "bad" professors (both according to students who had the professors themselves and ratemyprofessor.com). I really want to try to get out and take the other professor's classes, but obviously I don't have a choice if their classes are full. Anybody want to share their stories and advice with dealing with a bad professor?

stop complaining

Just realize that everyone in the class is in the same situation as you. Just handle the assignments better than they do.

Over your time in college, you will have some so-called “bad professors”. You won’t be able to avoid it and it is somewhat arbitrary to decide what the term even means. You are in college to learn not to be taught. If you have this attitude then the professor becomes less important since she/he is a guide for your studies. So the lectures aren’t brilliant, most of the time you spend on the class won’t be during lectures. Maybe the professor is much better one-on-one so go to office hours. As long at there is no harassment involved you can deal with it.

Finally, once you graduate, you will have a job and a boss. If you are lucky you will have a great boss but you may not. Consider this training…
