Does anyone know the course requirements for this program? Is US history required or can you take any other history course for your history credit?

Here is the website for the program which lists the requirements for each degree: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=185951&page=4&pp=15

(each is a little different, but the distribution requirements are the same, I believe). Six history hours are required according to the site. I'm not positive if USH is required, but I know that a Texas Government or Texas History class IS required. If this is any indicator, there's a good chance that USH is required. It's an interesting class, and not a bad experience any way you look at it. Hope that helped.
BTW, are you going DS next year? I will be :) Throw a PM my way if you want.

whoa mb - that was definately the wrong link lol. here's the correct one hahaha:

right...so you need to have US history as a legislative requirement. no matter what major at UT (or any public school in texas for that matter) you will have this requirement. My roommate took it this semester and the homework everyday was to read the front page of the new york times. Sounds kinda like a cool class to me!
