<p>What are the benefits of making the Dean's List? Just a nice little thing to put on your resume?</p>

<p>Grades are up and my GPA was .015 short of Dean's List. :(</p>

<p>It does not mean much but if you are constantly on the deans list than it will ensure that you will graduate with distinction.</p>

<p>It's no big deal that you're not on it this semester.</p>

<p>It's not really a distinction by itself, but if you can say that you were on deans list x/16 semesters...it says that you consistantly did well.</p>

<p>Grad schools don't care if your resume says deans list b/c they are just gonna look at your GPA anyways. Dean's list is there for your ego, and that is ok. My school doesnt even report a dean's list. You just graduate with honors and cum laude, and such. If you are satisfied with your GPA, that is all that should matter, but "Dean's List" is just a little way to show yourself and others how well you did.</p>

<p>For some reason my mind made the jump back to highschool and I was thinking in quarters....weird.</p>
