<p>My D spoke with her admissions counselor today. She was told she will be receiving a Dean’s scholarship and that the letter was generated today. So hopefully many of you who have been admitted without a scholarship will be receiving a letter in the next few days advising you that you will be receiving a Dean’s scholarship. <p>My D was contacted by her USC admissions counselor today. She called her to see if she had any questions about admissions or the scholarship. My D told her she was excited that she was accepted but had heard nothing about a scholarship. The counselor told my daughter she would look into it. She called her back told her she would be receiving a Dean’s scholarship.</p>
<p>Maybe it’s just me, but I’m not sure that all non P/T nominees will be getting Dean’s like last year. I also talked with my admissions officer, and he said that “You may or may not be receiving a Dean’s scholarship; that is not for sure.” I think they may have accepted significantly more students by the scholarship deadline than they did in years past, and didn’t plan to offer scholarships to all.</p>
