I'm confussed...what do we do for the project. There are not any guidelines. Do you completely make one up?

thats why its creative i guess. I was a bit vexed upon seeing it at first but just be creative I guess.

yeah i dont even know what to do....like i dont get it.

Some food for thought.... Projects for this scholarship have ranged from drawings, creative writing projects, musical CD's, DVD's ... Basically any creative medium that gives more insight and can be packaged in a two-dimensional form.. These are some of the items mentioned at the Dean's Honor scholarship recipients breakfast for this years freshman class..
They really did say they get a wide range of projects and were always interested to see what gets submitted.

Hope that frees up the concern about not having any guidelines...
There really are not very many restrictions for a reason. I think they are looking to have applicants who can design and implement a general concept and do it well.

Good Luck to all applying!

This is like when Mom tells you, "Go out and play."

Go out and play.

As I said on another thread, this is an opportunity for you to tell the school who you are and what you can bring to the community beyond pure academics. have fun, be creative and demonstrate why they should choose you.

My son did just that and was awarded the Dean's several years ago.
