Debating if I should rescore.

This is my second year taking the AP Human Geo test. Both years I received a 2. Last year I understood the score because I studied literally like 2nights before the test. But this year I studied like crazy and I KNOW I bested that test! I don't understand how I scored the same as last year. I was seriously expecting a 4, esp after getting on CC and learning that I got everything right on the first 2 FRQs.

Should I get rescored? If so how do you go about doing it?

Bump anyone?

If it means that much to you and you really thought you did better- do a re-score. It doesn’t hurt.

I agree with DeeYoo

How do I go about doing it then? Like when they say “written request” do I just write, “AP rescore for Human Geo test.” or what?

Your Request should look like this

John Doe

I AM REQUESTING A MULTIPLE CHOICE RE-SCORE For the exam: AP Human Geography 2012.

Enclosed is the 25$ check/money order made out to AP exams

or CC # **********************

You can ask for your FRQ books back too. I’ve heard stories where people didn’t do well, then asked for their FRQ books back, only to find that CB had actually misplaced the books and so their AP score for whatever exam was entirely determined by the multiple choice.

THANK YOU! Div301

@Opaline what happens when they figure that out?

Well, this thread is very helpful: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/ap-tests-preparation/367957-successful-ap-rescore-stories.html

There’s a few stories like what I described on there. Most people seem to say that if CB finds that the FR booklet was misplaced, then they use the MC score to predict your FR score, and base your revised exam score on that.

However, CB does not rescore FR booklets, only MC.
