I feel really incompetent here my grades are HORRIBLE compared to most of yours. I'm a really really good multiple choice test taker but yall have grades I would never even think are possible. Its crazy

Lol, one wrong on reading gave you a 98? I guess girls score higher than boys in reading, then, because I got 99th percentile for getting one wrong. And I totally believe that 34/40 can be 67th percentile (meaning no offense), because getting one wrong drops your score of 800 by 36 points, then another drops it by another 30-something, etc... I got 4 wrong in verbal and still got a 99th, but then verbal has 20 more questions than reading. And so many people seem to get perfect scores in math.

haha, i got 30/40. yeah, i pretty much failed that section :X eek, stupid french schools (i know i'm shifting the blame here, haha)

OMIGOSH, I KNOW. what is up with all the perfect math scores? i swear, i'm basically the only person on these boards who aren't in an advanced math class. my school doesn't have them.. :/ i think i'll get like, a 20th percentile in math (this year i got 89th, though. but that was lower level) because there is no way in heck i can compete with freshmen who are in AP calculus. how smart can one be, anyways? DDD:

im a freshman but im in algebra 1

Maybe I should take two math courses during the summer, just so I can take AP calculus as a freshman. Ok, maybe not. They'd all still be way too smart and leave me behind.

no he's right. I got 5 wrong in reading and got a 728 even though this was still a 94 percentile. You can suck in verbal just don't suck in math or reading.

8th grader - 791 in Math (96%) - in Algebra I

Verbal: 779
Math: 779
Reading: 698
Overall: 2256, 95% horrible

8th grade

Is this scoring system basically the same as the SAT? Also, what is the SSAT used for?

this thread is over a year old. the correct thread is the one above ^^^

and the ssat is used for entrance to private secondary schools.

Verbal Score 800

Would it be alright for exeter, andover, hotchkiss and lawrenceville?
