I mean extra credit is for people who have a 62 or something, not a 100

dude, that's just sick extra credit. We have 2 point bonus problems that are generally much harder than the average geo problems, and they pop up once a week or so. And long term bonuses that are extremely difficult, and they net you eight points, and there's like one every marking period. But seriously, this is just a way for people with high averages to get even higher ones.

I read a post by an admission person on some page that said split scores, Ie... 99 on reading/verbal 50 on math Is a big red flag.
Thats actually why your overall percentile is higher than the individual ones. Because most people are much better at one or two sections than the other(s)

oh no it was a timed, challenging extra credit opportunity

99 on reading/verbal, 93 on math was not a wholly unexpected score. But I was expecting to do much much worse in reading and verbal, and do slightly better in math. I guess I was really rusty, not having done that sort of stuff for a loooong, loooong time.

reading is usually easy so miss a couple and you're screwed. verbal is hard so even if u missed a couple, you can still be in the 99%ile. math is easy for people so miss one and like, your in mid 90's

"reading is usually easy so miss a couple and you're screwed."

oh s... seriously?! define "a couple".
haha, i know this is just teenagers speculating but i get over-worked up. gah.

"usually easy"?! i find it hard. some of the questions don't make sense..
haha, the difference between verbal & reading is huge : there was 1 mistake difference, and i got 83 in verbal and 52 in reading. & i got 1 more mistake on reading. :xxxx

A couple means a couple lol. I missed 6 one of mine and ended with a 67 reading. Next one didnt miss any and got a 99. So ya, don't miss any on reading and make sure u answer all of them lol.

Reading was really easy I missed one and I shouldn't have missed that one I got 98% in reading

.. SIX?!

please tell me you're a grade 11 male.
because i think i'm doomed. hahahaa

hmm. i just realized something. i should be studying instead of procastinating on CC.. but CC's addicting in an odd way, don't you think?

how can 34/40 be 67th? :(
mm, time to hit the books.. just as soon as i finish procastinating. haha. :D

EDIT:
just out of curiosity: how did you prepare for your re-test? like, improving the 6 incorrect answers..

Nope 10 male lol.

I didn't lol...I just went quicker so I could re-check the majority of them before time ended, and caught 2 wrong answers

I actually finished my reading in like ten minutes so I checked for like two minutes and I slept for the rest of the time I'm a really light sleeper so I just woke up when they said time is up

Lol ok wink wink. Its not even possible to go through and read everything in 10 minutes, let alone answer all the questions. I had 5 - 10 mins to check over stuff.

No I'm dead serious I've been reading since I was like 2 or 3 I'm really good at it. the writing thing not so much

rolls eyes

Well I don't know when I started reading but it was probaby sometime young...and thats just impossible. But w.e I still didn't miss any either, used all the time though.

It was actually really funny we like in a cafeteria or something and there was this asian kid who gave me this really weird look when I woke up and I just smiled at him
Anyways about the reading thing I'm actually not allowed to read aloud in some of my classes because I read too fast. I finished all of the other sections with time to spare too just not as much

What did you get on the SSAT?

98% in reading 89% in verbal 80 something in math and total 95%

hmm. see, whenever anybody wants to feel incompetent, they should visit CC! jkjk.

i had time to check a few of the questions over (3-5 minutes) but that didn't really fix anything, i bombed that section. i'm starting to believe the "you have it or you don't"..
but i was good at RC before! maybe the fact that i go to a completely French school (except for 1 english class like, every two days) contributes to my incompetency? ..
