<p>Does anyone know what time of day we can expect the Eli Account login to be up with the admissions decisions? I'm guessing it'll be at close of business on Friday, like around 5:00 ish but I really don't know for sure. Has anyone heard when we're all going to find out, or if not, does anyone know if Yale will even post the time? Are we just supposed to keep trying all day long, cuz I know that'll drive me crazy. I keep replaying the big moment in my head, but I don't even know if I'll be at school, or home, or anything.</p>

<p>bobbobbob, you need the blue letter Yale mailed to you, which has the link on it. I'd post it here, but Ive never seen a link to it on Yale's site, and it says really clearly at the bottom of the letter not to share anything with anyone, and I'd rather not risk anything by posting the link. (Especially since Princeton hacked Yale's site last year, so I think its a really touchy issue) If you didn't get the letter, it'd be a good idea to call new haven tomorrow.</p>

<p>based on past pattern, the link in the blue letter was only to activate your account.
The actual decision website link was posted on the main admission website,
when Yale opens up that info (around 12/15, 1 day earlier than the 12/16 date cited in the letter).
Then through that link, you go log into your account to get admission status info.</p>
<p>Last yr. they said it would be Thurs. or Fri. (I forget which), but then they actually were on online on the Wednesday eve or something. (Like midnight Eastern, or close to that.)</p>
<p>they aren't gonna post while everyone will be bombarding the system attempting to find decsions...but it has also been rumored that they're having more trouble than normal reading through all the apps</p>
<p>I have heard that too. Did you get the e-mail about the new post time? they are very vague: "we hope to notify you by the 16th". My heart can't take this.</p>
