does anyone know how long a "cycle" is on that graph? 40 hours?

also, when is a population sure to decrease? when carrying capacity is reached?

does anyone know how long a "cycle" is on that graph? 40 hours?

also, when is a population sure to decrease? when carrying capacity is reached?

Cycle was 40 hours.

ADH reduction should be more dilute urine. I'm fairly sure. ADH affects water reabsorption in the collecting tubule.. so you should only be changing the amount of water that comes out.

I put that if you take out the oak trees, then there is no significant effect on the pine trees? Something like that? Because the numbers almost didn't cahnge? I think it's because they occupy differenc niches, but that the answer choice I chose didn't actualyl mention that fact.

bbbf, that's what I had thought was possible. I didn't know why the bars looked equal but I thought it might have been because the scale was smaller. Does anyone actually know which graph was incorrect, then? I was debating between the curve, that graph, and the pie chart. I don't know why that question was so hard for me :(

the graph that didn't show any difference between nitrogen and phosphate was wrong

wasnt the invalid graph the first one , it showed no difference ?
i really dont know whether the test was hard or my brain just froze ! im really worried do u guys think the curve would be generous?:(

Oh, and I said population will be gauranteed to decrease as long as the ratio of death to birth rate is greater than one.. a population can reach carrying capacity and just fluctuate at that level without necessarily decreasing.

curve probably won't be generous, but whether a curve is "generous" or not doesn't really matter. it's never going to deviate more than a few points from the norm.

On a test of average difficulty, how many q's wrong is still an 800? Because in Barron's, you can get like 5-6 wrong for an 800, but in the other prep books, you can get a lot fewer wrong..

i think the normal curve would be -2 or 3 = 800

more than that. 5 is normal I think.

The correct answer to the one with population is that it will be gauranteed to decrease as long as the ratio of death to birth rate is greater than one (ex. 4:1, four deaths to one birth equals decrease) .. a population can reach carrying capacity and just fluctuate at that level without necessarily decreasing.

anyway. the graph was the bar graph that different show any difference between N and P

that cycle is forty hrs, cuz that's where the graphs show differences and it doubles at forty hrs.

YAY i PUT that if you take out the oak trees, then there is no significant effect on the pine trees. :)

the curve in the college board prep book is that 3 wrong= 800 or 4 blank = an 800, but that one was fairly easy... this one was a bit harder so i would say 4-5 wrong= 800 or 5-6 blank

Damn, I'm going to be on the cusp of an 800 if the curve is -4=800... now it comes down to luck. :(

Don't know if this helps but... I took BIO M last month and skipped like 7 questions/may have missed a few more = 760. It was a really hard test, but hey, the curve made up for it!

So you skipped 7 and got like 3 or 4 more wrong and still got a 760???

aquamarinee: I think the fact that CB gave the same test in two years and you were lucky enough to get it both times made up for it ;)

dudemanimcool: last month's test was ridiculous. this one was nothing compared to november

^ HAHAHA It certainly did. They actually gave it in the same year. January and then November 2007! =D Anyhow, I definitely skipped 7 and missed like... ~2 probably. Yay for good curve!

OMG!!!! that's sooo lucky... i hope this curve's going to be like that... wow i never knew they gave out the exact same test from previous months -- (i knew they took some questions from previous ones tho --)

I hope it's like -5 = 800.. does this ever happen? o_o

ugh...

it could happen. the curve was at least -5 = 800 last time.

anyway, I just thought of a question. I have no idea what it asked, but my answers were between "taxis" and imprinting. I ended up picking taxis.

Haha! I remember going "taxis, taxis remember that" then I got home and couldn't remember the question either!

I did a quick E to M switch. ended up doing both sections then choosing the one I felt I did best on.

I also have a problem leaving questions blank, sooo yeah.

Way to not have the game plan going.
