@kwu: you omitted 17..??... you'll still get around 700.. so even you njoy..!!!

thanks, rashi. i hope everything goes well for you as well!

hahaha yeah the first 25 or so were a joke. i was so relieved after those questions, but then came the second half....frankly, i was psyched out. so the general consensus here is that a 40/50 is gonna be an 800?

has the curve ever been that low?

Wow, I actually found it easier this time around. Then again, last time around I was barely thinking. XD

I left about 10 blank, and I am pretty confident in my answers. I left a bunch blank because of time constrains and not because I did not know how to do them, though.

I left 10 blank, and I don't think that I got any wrong. I always like to say that I got around 2 wrong though, because you can never be too sure. I only like to answer questions that I know definitively -- so I got at least 40 correct. God only knows what that translates to though . . . it was a lot more difficult than I was expecting, and a lot more difficult than any of the practice tests would have indicated. :-/

i just hope 33 raw score is a 700

ok guys...lets get this going....start listing the problems you remember:

what was the answer to the log question.. find f(2e)... I don't exactly rem..

Wait, didn't we have to sign something on the test itself saying that we wouldn't repeat any specific questions? I mean I know that we can talk about things like "wasn't #45 difficult" without saying what it was or anything, but can we repeat the questions themselves? Then again, it's not like they're going to track me down and yell at me/take my shi-- er -- crappy scores away. :)

the answer to the first question was 20
the 2nd question was (-1/2)

3 was (1.316)

what was the one about if b is greater than a, than f(b) is greater than f(a) for all values of x or whatever. Was it x^3?

yes.. x^3..

Rashi, that was one of the 10 that I skipped. It would have just been too involved at that time, so I skipped it (figuring that I'd go back later), but I didn't end up having time.

What about that one that was like f(x) and it involved multiplying the exponents m and n (or something like that) I think? Multiplying exponents = adding them, right? What did you all pick for that one?

EDIT: I picked x^3 too because that was the only one that you could ensure would keep its negative sign.

any body remember length of diagonal of parallelogram with sides 27 and 29?
I bubbled 30 something (was it 32)

yes, thats what i got too (X^3)

and the one about finding H, where 2 triangles with common H were given...the distance b/w 2 pts (X) was given...I bubbled 1.5 for H

SILLBILL, for that I got F(m+n)

@sillbill: ans was f(m) + f(n)

There was one where the choices were 1, -1, 7, -7, 1/7, -1/7 or something like that.... I forget the question (something about the product of slopes), but I chose the -1/7. That was correct, right?
