how cum F(m+n)...?????

Y/(2x-y)=something and X/(2y-x)=?

i got 11/29

also, Sin(X)^2 +1 = Sec(x)^2
.....Cos(x)^2

yup.. I got -1/7...

Sin(X)^2 +1 = Sec(x)^2
Cos(x)^2
that's rite...

I left the other one..

i got either -1/7 or 1/7 i dont rmr

rashi how was it f(m)+f(n)??
function was described as f(X)=a^x..
question was, how can f(m).f(n) be expressed...
Subbing the values, f(m).f(n) = a^m.a^n = a^(m+n)...which is nothing but f(m+n)

also there was a question that gave the surface area of a cube and asked for the volume, did u guys get 27X^3?

its -1/7...thats what I got

stupid me.. applying log.. I should kill myself..!!!

27x^3.. that is correct..

@Pinki...yep thats the right answer...

Yeah, I got the -1/7, sec^2x, and then the f(m+n) because it was f(x) = a^x, or something like that... So it ended up being F = a^ (m+n), but since x = (m+n), the answer was just F(m+n). That one threw me off a little bit, not because I didn't know the answer, but rather because I had to think "OKAY, so where am I plugging this (m+n) into?!"

what did u guys get for the one that asked about how many teams were there if there were 28 (or maybe it was 24) games?

Oh no!!! I put positive 1/7 because I was going through the slopes and said the slope of the last part was -1/7 because I did it right to left since that's where I was in moving along determining the slopes. What a dumb mistake!

anyone remember the answer to number 48? That was the one where they give you sinx and two sides (3 and 5) and you have to find cosy the exterior angle. I put -4/5 but that was an educated guess.

also i had 3 Cs in a row at the end 46,47, and 48.

Very difficult test tbh, i left 3 blank (49,50 and one around between 25-30), and had like 4 iffy questions.

^^to MathIzLyfe me your answer is right.

Im pretty sure Sec^2(x) was the answer to the question about the identity.

the 28 one was eight I believe, since you had to do _ choose 2 and I think 8 was the one it worked out to..

Ah crap! I can't remember if I ended up bubbling in the 27x^3 or not!!! I knew that it was that answer because the area of each side was 9x, but I refused to answer any questions that I wasn't 100% sure on (that's my downfall... I'm used to just going for it, but that ends up taking off major points from my raw score on the damn SAT tests, so I tried not to).

even my ans was -4/5...

yeah i second the nick89 on that question.

Pinki10583: It was a softball team... Something about find the number of teams if each team plays each other once and there are 28 games. I did it the old fashioned way of:

A B C D E F G H

A: 7 matches
B: 6 matches
C: 5 matches
D: 4 matches
E: 3 matches
F: 2 matches
G: 1 match
H: zero matches (they had already been matched with everyone else)

So I added that up, it came to 28, so I picked 8 teams.
