oh well...i think i missed the probability one

Dang it, I keep hearing mixed things about the 2/9 phone call problem. What about the equation of coordinates equidistant from 2 xyz points?

y=1/2 i think? i wasnt sure on that one.

I got y=1/2 but my friend tells me it's y=1.5 because 1.5 is in mid of 1 and 2?

oh lol nvm....i meant 3/2

): another one wrong!

i just ignored the z coordinate and used a two dimensional plane lol...

wait..for the probability one if a and b are independent...then doesnt P(ab)=p(a)*p(b)=2/9?

lolilaughed, I see you decided at the last minute to take the math2 test. glad to hear you did well.

I did awful. only answered 28. 630 if I'm lucky.

^ That's what I should have done haha; I was very confused.

but somebody said its 4/9?

Yea, gcf says it's 4/9 so it's still disputed. Yes, I was going to take Bio/Chem but changed it to Math/Chem since I was definitely not ready.

how convenient

I'm pretty sure it's 2/9 and 3/2.

Damn dude that test was definitely harder than the practice tests that are in the blue book! I was so stressed for time..I left like 5 blank; I guessed on none though so I hope I get all the ones I filled in right!

.06 for probability of 7?
x^2=y^2?
area is 4x as much when coordinates are 2x?
y=12 when y=2x?
I can't remember the rest.

I left them blank thank god, I would have never guessed that.

i got 0.06

4 times the area

and x=6, y=12 when y=2x

TheMan66 - I got 4 times as large,
What was the y=12 one? was that the slope and point one or something?

For some reason I believe that I may have put 4/9 for one of the prob. problems (lol though, it's 2/9 [which I might have put, I can't remember anything, lolol] because it doesn't matter what order they're in, bah), but yes for .06 and y=12 and y=3/2. Can't remember the other ones..

y=4x-12
What do you guys guesstimate the curve will be?
