DECEMBER 2008 SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2

Lol, damn everyone with a TI-89, srsly. haha.

And sorry inveniamviam I meant to put pi in the formula but forgot..but on the test I got it right.

What did people get for the polynomail function with 3 pts?

I don't mean to be annoying but seriously..what were the answers to the vector question and compound interest question?

the ones i rememberfor the 4to the m and 2^n between -4 to 4 was 3 values right.. and please tell me tht was number 27 cause i wasnt sure bubled last minue

2/9 prob for number 49

m/(t^m) for the decay one

other decay one m was equal to 2?

ok one of the quesrions was like which values make it zero and it had like 1 2 3 6 but the value was -1 and 1 but the number of values was 2 so i put 1 as the answer i hope it was the number value not the number of solustions

parabola is (x-3)^2+2

hey for the standard deviation did u get 0.1

3587 or something i believe...

st dev was .1 ya

4to the m and 2^n for this one i got 5

Wow....
I had my calculator in radians mode, so when I did the vectors law of cosines problem, none of the answer choices followed my answer when I square rooted it. I just realized that when I got home. Instead, I just used pythagorean theorem when I didn't see my answer on there.

lol, what was up with the one where some of the answer choices were like A) 2M(sub zero)t
B) 2(M (sub zero))t
as if... that changes anything? I didn't get much sleep so maybbbbe it does.. idk

for vectors its 8^2+6^2-286*cos(130) and sqrt that so answer should be 12.7... i got that wrong :\ (i got 6.2) w/e....just one

edit: ***? now im confused. is it 50 or 130? nvm it is 130... doh!

4to the m and 2^n did u get 5? possible values cuz 0 is an integer also

wasnt the 4^m and 2^n one 5 values (two of the points can be negative right?)

Yes standard deviation is 1 so is 3587.

Also, yes, the 4^m one is Five values because they can be negative.

Was the M0 thing E: /t^2 or something

t^2? wasnt it 2^t?

fo the symolsquestion with the triandle did u get C??

Yeah 5 values, .1 standard deviation

yeah I had 6.2 at first as well, because I used 50 the first time, but you can see that 6.2 can't be the answer because it's smaller than 8 and the sum of the vectors is obviously longer than either of the vectors themselves. And yeah, use 130

Oh, yea 2^t. The symbols question + was mult, tri was divide...not sure if it was C though.

why cant you just find the components of the vectors, add them together, and use the Pythagorean theorem?
