^ Yeah, but scores are still really, really important. Like, Princeton won’t accept you with a 19 on your ACT even though you’re an “individual”

So what were you guys’ opinions on the essay (on television)? What side did you take?

yeah I would figure not. I don’t think I did too well but like paulshoon7 said they also base on if they think your ready for college…well im already in college and just completed my first semester and my gpa was a 2.75…

I did not like the essay at all, but I said it was bad.
Talked about distraction at school and an anecdote about my teacher not grading our essays because of monday night football… lol

@meadows. I talked about, how television can help learn the language, culture, society, but needs to be watched with a purpose, or it can bring horrible consequences. i talked about stuff like sesame street and caillou, fox news, north korea’s denotation of television as “dumb box”…

Ugh. I’ve been freaking out all day now. 40 more minutes!

Since this is my first time, I’m not exactly sure where the scores are posted. Is there going to be a new entry under “Your Test Dates and Scores” (the page with status, date, location, etc.)?

I wrote about how it was sort of ironic that President Obama gave a speech to our nation’s kids via television about staying in school and doing homework

Good question lol.
I don’t know either!

im refreshing the “Your Test Dates and Scores” page. A link called “View Your Scores” should replace “When Will Scores Be Ready?”

I have a question…if the scores dont come out right at midnight does that mean that they wont come out later today?

they come out at 1 AM Est

oh god. 33 mins left and mine still says registered! lol. no hope ): not getting them by 1am.

Thanks, blstrs! Gaaaah, I know it’s pointless for another 30 minutes or so, but I can’t stop refreshing the page…

hahaha me too! (and no problem… this is my third time around =) )

ok I know this a stupid question but will they seriously come out at 10 pm pacific then? (because of the -3 hr time difference)

I said that television can be a huge distraction if the individual cannot control him/herself and becomes addicted, but it can be quite beneficial if watched for a purpose. Also, it’s a way for students to relax so our brains can be recharged… :)

omg 30 minutes

32 mins!! all right. i’m gonna attempt to land a boeing 777-300 at O’hare Intl while i wait

My main point was that there are many more productive leisure activities to do besides watch tv, then listed examples. I had a couple more points too.

Yep. We’ll all be able to see our scores within this half hour, regardless of location.
