Luckily English and reading should be the easiest to get up. Science is what was scaring me.

**. i actually thought i might have gotten in the low 30’s how on earth is everyone else doing so well??? are they all cheating, like ?

34 with no prep. Can’t be disappointed. But then again, I think I should have gotten 36s in English and Reading.

I was shooting for the 30s but still I’m ok with my score except for reading. I thought I did really well on it; I even thought it was on the easy side. How did I end up with a 27??

English - 30(had a 30)
Math - 35(had a 31)
Reading - 31(had a 25)
Science - 34(had a 36)

Composite - 33(had a 31)

Overall I am happy with this score. I know that for a 34 I needed four points across the sections to average in, so that was probably out of my reach. 33 is what I wanted, what I felt like after the test, and what I got. And I’m never taking it again even though I am a junior. The third time really is the charm.

I scored a 31!- Better than my 1910 SAT

Doctorje,

Its a self-selecting group. Only about 3-4 percent will get 30 or above. The other 97%-- most don’t post!

Meh, I got a 29 again.

English: 34
Math: 24
Reading: 32
Science: 25

Hopefully this will be good enough for schools like Grinnell and Macalester. I’m applying as an English major.

Meh. Didn’t study at all and just wanted to see what the test was like before taking it with my school in March. On the upside, I’m basically guaranteed admission into any of the colleges I want to go to and the state is giving me $4k for having something higher than a 21.

Composite: 27
English: 26
Mathematics: 30 (How in God’s name did I pull that one out, I suck at math.)
Reading: 27
Science: 25
Writing: Forthcoming

I am a freshman.

I got:

Composite: 26 :(

English: 25
Math: 32
Reading: 25
Science: 23 :(

I am very disappointed with myself. Now to get to a 34 as a junior is gonna be hard…

SA, you have plenty of time. You probably haven’t learned most of the stuff yet, a 26 is pretty good for a freshman. I think if you work at it you can get a 34 before you graduate.

I got a 28 composite which was actually not as bad as I expected
English: 25
Math: 30 disappointed considering I took a practice test and got 34 and felt good after the math section
Reading: 29
Science: 26 (I thought I bombed this but once again english/writing is lowest just like sat)

My question is some schools accept 2 SAT II subject tests or ACT w/Writing would it be wise to take the subject tests in January (i’m already signed up) or use my weak act score as them

for example a 2000 sat and this ACT w/Writing for schools that allow you to substitute

Composite: 30

english: 32
math: 32
reading: 31
science: 25 !!! ):

I have taken the ACT three times and every single time, I got a 25 on science.
Oh well, I’m a senior… so i’m done !!

This was my first time taking it, I got a 34 composite with

English 35
Math 35
Reading 36
Science 28 haha

I don’t know how my science was so low, I didn’t prepare for the test, so I had no idea what to expect

I also took the SAT for the first time on the December date, is a 34 composite ACT or a 2310 SAT better, and should I retake them if I am looking at Ivy League

jgraider,

You won’t need to retake the SAT but I would recommend retaking the ACT for a higher science score.

Haha yeah I figured I definitely needed to bring the science up
