Post here what you think you got, and when the time comes, what you really got!

I'd say:

770 CR
760 M (if -2 is 760)
800 W

Total: 2330

Post here what you think you got, and when the time comes, what you really got!

I'd say:

770 CR
760 M (if -2 is 760)
800 W

Total: 2330

Considering the scores are coming out tom. morning I thought Id take a stab…

Cr: 750-770 [ maybe 2-4 wrong]
M: 760-800 [ originally I was sure I got a 800…but as time passed I started to doubt myself]
W: 10/11 on essay 740/760-760/780

So total:
Super Optimistic: 2350
Optimistic:2320
Lower Bound: 2250
Realistic: 2290
I felt like I did pretty well on this test but I might be totally wrong… I guess we shall find out soon enough!

CR: 760-780
M: 760-800
W: 750-800

So my range is: 2270-2380

If I had to guess one number, I would go with 2330.

Optimistically:
Writing-770
Critical Reading-800
Math-700

Realistically:
Writing-730
Critical Reading-750
Math-690

Dreadful:
Writing-680
Critical Reading-700
Math-670

Legitimately, I am really just hoping for 730+ in Crit Reading and Writing…that will provide solid footing for the next test. I messed up on many questions (5) that I should not have messed up on in math. I got a 75 on math for the PSAT…but I am sure I will probably get around a 700 on this test–next test, however, will be a different story.

I like thinking optimistically, but most of the time it leads to great disappointment…

I know I got 1 wrong 1 omit in math, 2 wrong in CR, and 1 wrong in W, but that could still be 2350-2360, so I am hoping…

In the worst case scenario super-scoring will really help.

Anyone think they have a decent chance at a 2400?

Optimistically:
Writing-700
Critical Reading-730
Math-800

Realistically:
Writing-670
Critical Reading-700
Math-780

Dreadful:
Writing-620
Critical Reading-650
Math-750 (A big curse on me!)

In response to silver turtle:

A good friend of mine thinks she might have snagged a perfect score XD
She says that she only missed one CR question and that generally gets washed away by the curve
Originally I didn’t believe her …but last week she got a 240 on her psat so I guess I was a bit too suspicious

dkunw, why do you say that superscoring is a worst case scenario, i personally am counting on the fact that i can up my math score next time around and then have a superscore that is near the 2270-2300 range. I guess that is because i think most colleges look at superscores.

No, that’s not what I meant. I meant that in a worst case scenario of getting lower scores than I hope for super-scoring will really help.

Yeah, the College Board says that -1 on CR could yield from a 770-800, but the reality is that -1 (and even -2) is always an 800.

Optimistically:

Critical Reading: 740
Math: 780
Grammar: 730

Total: 2250

Realistically:

Critical Reading: 700
Math: 780
Grammar: 690

Total: 2170

I don’t think I can narrow it down to one number, but I’m confident that my score was over 2000.
If that prediction isn’t right, I’m going to be more than slightly disappointed.
Anyone else think this SAT was on the easy side?
It was my first real test, but it was a lot better than I expected.

Prediction:

CR: 720
Math: 800
Writing: 800

We will see what I actually get…

I never took a practice test or the SAT before, so I don’t know how to really judge. I’m just hoping I didn’t totally fail… So I’m hoping for a 2000+…

Probably:

CR: 740
M : 770
W : 690
Essay: 9

That’s an odd prediction.

how so?

i dont think i got an 8, i dont think i got a 10

i realize that for my prediction to come true my graders have to disagree but its happened on my first SAT (7) and on my ACT (9)…

Super Optimistically:
CR: 800
M: 800
W: 780-800

Total: 2380-2400

I know I missed a writing one, and my essay wasn’t stellar, but I thought that CR was decent and math was cake.

Realistically:
CR: 770
M: 800
W: 730

Total: 2300

Not-as-I-Hoped:
CR: 720
M: 760
W: 680

Total: 2160

Well, last time I thought I did really well and came out with a 2150, so who knows?

I’ll probably end up with a 2200 flat tomorrow and embarrass myself with my 2400 prediction. :)

I just want to improve my math section. If I hit 2000+, we’re having a CC party lol.
