It was the mongoose.

the animal one was the mongoose, and for the WPA I said it was started by a small group of individuals in the 1920’s because at least there was a mention of that? idk

i believe it was mongoose.

And i think it was broad base of support b/c didn’t everybody like spread out over U.S.A and write stories or something like that?

What did the word social experiment most closely mean?

referred to the WPA so the creation of a program to spread welfare or something? and it never mentioned a broad base, in fact it specifically mentioned a few men and women I think

[Colleges that super score ACT | College Admissions Counseling](Colleges that superscore the ACT - BS/MD Admissions by College Admissions Partners)

Several of those top colleges superscore the ACT but do not recalculate the composite, so in effect, it means nothing anyway.

The second part was not subjective either. By definition the population of superscored 35s and 35s is greater than the population of 35s in one sitting. It doesn’t require a high one sitting to super score a 35. A 34 at non-superscoring school would likely be better.

Quote from ACT’s website:

That’s pretty high for a 1 point superscore.

the social experiment, I put something like it helped the unemployed get jobs

I think I put the broader base thing too I think. And I debated the social experiment thing for a while but I remember one of the choices was something about bringing the employment and morale up of the people… but i’m not sure I put that

Yep, this was the reasoning that I had.

You guys can ask me for any other Reading questions apart from the “broader base” one. I’m pretty sure I got them all. :)

Social experiment - I put that it meant something about reviving morale or something.
The 2nd sentence or so in the first paragraph mentioned something about that.
I don’t remember the exact quote though :p

It was definitely the mongoose - the mongoose ate the rats or whatever. Something kinky like that. ;)

IT was to bring up the morale and fortunes of the people. That was the answer. I am positive.

ACT, What was the photography one? What did the author comment on it by comparing that to the Viwaleaman guy or whatever?

Okay, so is the question about the Harlem renaissance that it had a broader base of support? because I thought the passage said after the harlem renaissance was already started, the actual renaissance was larger than originally thought

Wong, that was a tough one. I said it was a mix of fact, error and fiction (or something like that).

I’m almost certain it WAS broader base.

@Wong, I think I put something about distortion of reality or something? I was probably wrong. I felt like it was a tough reading test :/

wow thats exactly how many i had left too… Sad day

I remember something on the photography one that real life is somewhat a delusion or fictitious or something and that paintings provide insight or something like that?

For the photography, I said it ignored reality to portray an artistic vision but idk.
and ****t, I had broader base then doubted myself

I think it’s def. narrator because it said who seemed like they created most of the dance. tHe narrator created the bird dance “invented”, so narrator?
