How did you do on the test? It seems like the reading section was little harder than the previous test, but math was a little easier.

I took the ACT for the first time yesterday and thought the test as a whole was very, very difficult. I have a 4.0 GPA and try my hardest at everything, but I have a feeling I did very bad.

The reading section was hard for me, and I naturally suck at math, but what my worst section was… was the Science. Out of 40 questions, I’m sure I only got 2 right.

The reading was very hard due to pacing, and some - well, MOST of the questions were really confusing. I predict my score to be a 13. Not even kidding.

^ If you have a 4.0 and get a 13, then something is clearly wrong with your school.

Well I thought English was pretty easy, but I finished erasing an answer that I was going to change right as time ran out, so I ended up having to leave that one question blank I could see anywhere from like a 30-33 on it.

I thought Math was easy too, but got lazy in the last 20 questions because I was ahead of pace and ended up having to guess on the last two questions, not to mention there was one question that I swear they did not have the right answer for, but I guess I must have been doing something wrong. I could also see 30-33 on this section as well.

Reading was fairly easy to me as well, but I feel like you can never be completely sure with reading… There were only 3 questions that I had trouble picking an answer on. I expect anywhere from 29-33 here.

And then, as expected, science was pretty hard. I feel like a lot of my answers could have been right, but at the same time I feel like a lot could have been wrong too. The last section especially was frustrating because all the questions were centered around the second graph and I had no idea what that graph was trying to tell me. I also had to blindly guess on the last two questions because I ran out of time. I could see anywhere from 20-28. I know that’s a big range, but I really have no idea how I did.

Overall I would expect my composite to be 28-32. The science section has some real potential to kill my score. This is the second time I’ve taken it and I’m really hoping for 30+ this time. I got a 28 the first time I took it.

i thought this test was harder than usual. english was okay… math i found more difficult than usual… i was hoping for a perfect 36 but there was at least 3 i had to guess on andi think i guesed wrong. reeading and science were okay… overall im hoping for at least a 30 shooting for a 34 but thats prob a stretch. bleh im going to a scholarship so this act means a lot to me. if i dont get teh 34 i only have one more try for the rest of mylife thats a scary thought…

this was my second time, and english and math seemed a little easier to me than last, but science seemed a little harder and i felt a little rushed, but by far reading is my worst and i got a 20 on reading last time, but yesterday i skipped the prose passage and took my time with the other three and was able to answer about 5 of the prose and guess on the last five, so i feel it should inprove, so hopefully i will increase my overall score of 23

My dd said the test seemed harder than then the practice tests but that was the same in the previous tests. She had time to finish all tests, with extra time to check. I hope this means she did better than last time (I just want her to improve from 27 composite to 29).
