Ya collegebound41, he is applying to some low tier schools that do not actually require the writing. Their ACT average is like 25 but he just wants to make sure by going to those colleges he’ll have 100% of his fees and tuition payed for so he needs the highest possible score but the writing is not necessary. At least that’s what he told me.

people who got their scores. Do u have any idea what the curves were like.

golden said his cousin got a 35 on science. There is no way -2 on science was a 35. So it had be a -1.

^His cousin wasn’t on the forums though was he?

I’m not sure why that would matter- a score is a score.

Guys, let’s all just chill and enjoy the holiday season :)

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
<3

I’ll be back on the 27th, when I am crying about my score.
Good luck to you all!

That doesn’t make it definitive at all. The December 05, June 06 and June 08 ACTs all had -2 as a 35. There are definitely more that had -2 as a 35 as well. Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

^ I think the point I was trying to make is people were freaking out that -1 on Science might be a 34 since it was easier than normal. Clearly -1 (at least) gives a 35, if a -2 gives a 35 that would be even better.

^ Oh in that case, I agree.

no i think people were freaking out that -2 is a 33 because there were no 34s in science oct 2009. oh and no 35 for reading…

No 35 for reading? How are you so sure? As long as -3 (hopefullyyyyyyyyyyy) is a 34 I’m fine, lol.

lol im not that sure. it’s just that there werent 34s for science and 35s for reading posted up so far, except that one guy who said he got a 36.

Ya guys I don’t know the exact curve or anything but I am pretty sure by what my cousin got that it is possible to get a 35 so just relax. There should be no -1 people with a 34 on science, at least not if everything remains the same which should unless i’m missing something.

Everyone should just relax. A point or two difference rarely matters for most schools and there are many fine schools out there. Try to enjoy the holiday break.

Nevarrrrrrrrrr.

If I live California, do my scores come out 10 p.m. 12/26?

Sad. In the scheme of things, this is small potatoes. Anyone who tells you differently is telling tales, knows not for which he or she speaks or is trying to sell you something.

Just over a day left, guys!

Hey I have a question, what is the best ACT prep book?

best act prep book is the one i wrote. i have it in a pdf file if you want it for $15. Otherwise, the official red act prep book is the best.
