December 2014 ACT Discussion Thread

Did anyone else find it strange how there were sum and difference identities in the math portion?

Was that the one where it was asking about a + b?

:-S I felt really confident on that and my first reaction afterwards was a 33-34 but it’s really just a toss up

It was an absolute value question

Wat was the kids response to the narrator telling him that he filled in?

I think casual response

Ok good

Why was the mom crying in the comparison passage one?

@lim She hated the hard work farming entailed

i thought it was that even if u work hard the plants might still die

I’m pretty sure it was because after all her hard work the farm could still be a failure

The upcoming season ment hard work or something

who was the student with the most scientific response? student 4?

why did they place the shrubs next each other? climate?

Can someone review choices for the crying one

I forget what I put

america(s) 72G, canada, north, central and south all had it.

@Dynasty21‌ I put something about setting a plank between two chairs. The keyword in the question was ‘specific’ and that was the only specific choice.

yo does anyone know the answer to my question? pleaseee

who was the student with the most scientific response?

why did they place the shrubs next each other?

Thanksss

What did you get for which students had the most scientifically accurate explanation? (1 or 4?)

The one who thought oxygen has nothing to do with burning was obviously the right choice
