I found Math way much easier than the last test in October.

First time taking ACT and my Procter was TERRIBLE

she apparently doesn’t know how to tell time and gave the class less time on math section. Reading section she decides to call out 5 minutes left when there is 10. Moves people around the room without even taking into account that the test has starte and movih to a new seat costs time…
By the time I got to my essay I knew It does matter anymore and just gave up

3rd and last time taking. I thought English was normal. Math was about the same but some of the problems definitely took more time. Reading was hard for me (for some reason). And I couldn’t concentrate during the science because some person was sniffling every 5 seconds during the entire test.

Not a big deal though, I really only took it for the writing score. Guessing I got about an 8-9. (Strong hook/ending.)

Overall, what I’m guessing. Depending on the curve.

English: 29-31
Math: 31-32
Reading: 28-30
Science: 28-30
Composite: 29-31

Good news is if I hit the upper end of my english and math estimates my superscore will hit 33.

I honestly thought the math was a lot easier than the October test but the science was a little difficult. Still though a -2 36 on math would be really helpful

Got out of the test, overall think it was a standard ACT. Felt like the math was a bit easier, English was standard, reading and science were maybe a bit more difficult? I got a 31 last time (34E 26M 32R 32S) and I expect about the same, maybe a bit more. Hoping for a 32 or 33, because I did feel my math improved somewhat and I was able to go back over prose reading in the reading portion, which is almost always my weak-spot there.

yeah 72g for me too. Don’t how it went i mean math was harder than usual for me and i mean im really good at math but had to guess on the last 12…yikes. I also had a horrible protocer she was just wearing 6 inch heels and it just kept on hitting the ground… so annoying. Reading i felt was maybe my highest the new strategy i learned was pretty helpful and i finished with like a minute remaining. Science was either a hit or miss and english was petty standard to me. Very comparable to the Princeton Review. Defiently hoping or a -2 math and science cuve for the 36.

Why don’t you guys discuss answers here like they do after the sat

what topics were difficult about math? i thought it was pretty easy, now im worried.

The one about tickets selling where there was stem leaf diagram and we need probability was difficult for me to understand

Science=
Test will probably be regular or harsher curve because I thought it wasn’t really too difficult. Unfortunately, I choke but still test was average

The one about points equidistant from verticies o triangular garden,The one with 2 triangles and asked for cos a+b, the ellipsis equation…also I forgot how to add vectors or if there’s anything special you need to do. But usually i can get every problem so this one was hard to me

Form 72G here. What did everyone think about the difficulty of the test? Personally I though everything was a breeze, but got caught up on the last 6 or so questions on the math.

*Thought

English: Way easier than I thought, 34.
Math: Eh… Went better than I thought so 29/30
Reading: 34/35
Science: 26-28. THAT WAS HARD. I couldn’t understand what it was asking half of the time >.<

Writing: 7/8 - ran out of time. sigh

I had 72G as well.

The English was pretty normal. Although there were a few questions that i debated between 2 choices and I spent more time on than I should have. Like the one with whom/who and America with/without a colon, and “Be as it may”?

Math was relatively easy. It started to get hard around 30. Like fr0zenfury said, there were a few that I would normally be able to do but didn’t understand this time. ie: the cylinder question, cos a + b, and the lighthouse question.

Reading was moderately difficult. I’m glad I skipped the second passage about the maps and came back to it later because that took the most time. Rest of the passages were easy, especially the ones where you have to compare.

Science was also relatively difficult. Towards the end of each passage, the questions became longer and harder and I recall guessing on a few of them.

Didn’t run out of time on any of the passages, suprisingly. Overall I found this ACT to be normal, not too hard or too easy. I took both the September and October one and I definately feel more confident after taking this one. Hoping to get a 31+!

Science and reading were hard. Math and English were average

How many acts have you guys taken, I’ve only seen practice tests in the red book and the real act is far harder than any in the practice book

Also how much do you guys write for the essay? I wrote 2 and a half pages. On Sat they only give you 2 pages and 25 min. How do they expect you to fill up extra 2 pages with just 5 more minutes on act.

Last act
E 35
M 36
R 34
S 36
C35
This act prediction
E34-36
M35-36
R33-36
S 30-35
C 33-36
Darn you science guessed on last 4. Science wasn’t hard but I kept double guessing and wasting time. :(

I felt like the English was slightly harder than previous ACTs. The math and reading were average, and the sciene was super super easy.

I had 72g
