December 21st, 2012

I hope **** happens, I want a post-apocalyptic world that has nothing to do with nuclear war or zombies

Like an ice age would be nice, or a huge worldwide flood

Nostradamus - predictor of nothing and everything.

I read an article that the flipping of the magnetic poles is a gradual process and it never killed anyone (our hominid ancestors have been through a few)

Hopefully I'll get rich sellin life insurance!! It's four days after my birthday so I'll be drinking too!!!

Yes but it would screw up every single computer and electronic device on Earth.

On that date the solar system is supposed to be in line with the rest of the galaxy or something like that and gravity is supposed to go haywire.

I dont know but there will be a huge hysteria during the days before 21st Dec in 2010 ;)

it'll be like y2k. nothing will happen after alot of panick.

Imagine the shopping sales.

"It's that time of year again! Christmas sales now through December 24th."
"The world is coming to an end! All electronics half price off! Free if you can pillage and get away with it!"

Seriously, even the Mayans didn't believe that the world would END in 2012; they believed that a cycle of rebirth would occur, ending the 'old age' and ushering in a new era. However, where people get this 'apocalypse' thing from is that the Mayans did suggest that, depending on how humans handled themselves during the time of awakening, they could bring some widespread catastrophe on themselves. So, in short, the world won't end, but a lot of people could die.

I've never wanted to be old anyway. I HOPE WE DIE.

I've heard it's the 23rd...
A Sunday.

It's the 21st. I don't know what will happen, but it's really weird that so many different cultures point to that date, cultures that couldn't possibly know each other, and that our world is on a major downward spiral...

Maybe this means I won't have to pay my college loans :)

Well dragons are in a lot of geographically diverse ancient cultures, but you don't see any of them flying around. I think the whole 2012 thing is bs

ahahaha..i don't want to become old or pay off my loans either..come to think of it, that might be very useful timing!!seriously now, it'll take a lot to make the world end..so i'm not particularly worried.
