December ACT Difficulty?

I've heard that the December ACT is "harder" than others because it's the last chance for Seniors to take the exam (thus skewing the curves and making them harsher). Is this true? Would it be unwise to take the December 10 ACT?

Bump, anyone?

i dont think so. i did better on december than april, both in junior year.

No matter the difficulty, don’t they curve it appropriately?

^That’s exactly it. I didn’t say the December ACT was “hard” in that sense, but hard because more seniors take it, thus doing better and making the curves harsher.

Oh, I see. How about one of the earlier test dates?

i’m not sure here, but i thought the curve was set ahead of time. as in, the act bases the scale off of how hard they think that particular test is. if that’s true, it shouldn’t matter if seniors take it or not.
