Quick question: the Ithaca website notes that their first audition date (December 1) is the early decision date. Does anyone know if it’s ONLY for ED applicants? Or can seniors also audition then if they’re applying regular decision? Thanks for any info!

It is not just for ED applicants.

Thank you, monkey13! that’s so helpful–we have not visited Ithaca, so I was hoping he could audition on-site and this is our best way to schedule it. Yay! Now back to my calendar…

You are welcome. I had asked them the same question…BTW, we visited Ithaca and LOVED it. Phenomenal facilities, and everyone was so nice. The campus is gorgeous, and the theaters are to die for. (Of course, we weren’t there in winter!) If you visit, have lunch at the Moosewood Restaurant. Yum.

I haven’t been to Ithaca since my own college days, when I had a good friend at Cornell–I do remember horrible weather and a cool, vibrant, hippy-filled town. My son heard great things about Ithaca from his TA’s at the Boston University summer program–apparently several of them had chosen between Ithaca and BU and thought he would like it–so I really want to get him to the campus and not just audition at Unifieds. You’ve saved me a phone call and let me get a jump on planning. thanks again!

Times3, I sent you a PM!
