Hey guys,

quick question. I'm shooting for a T14 school, preferably even a T5, but I'm concerned that taking the December LSAT will greatly lower my chances of admission.

I have a good GPA (3.8+) from a good school, but I'm worried that because I won't receive my LSAT score until late December that most of the spots at the top schools will be filled.

Like, if I score in the 169-172 range, which is what my practice tests are indicating, I might still have a decent shot at many of the lower T14 schools, but virtually no shot at schools like NYU, Columbia, and Chicago. BUT, if I get a lower 170s score and I apply in the next cycle, sometime in early September, my chances at these schools will dramatically improve (since more spots will be available).

So, any thoughts? Granted, this is all based on speculation...if I get a 175+ I'm definitely going to shoot apps to all the T14 schools, but if my score is in the 169-172 range, am I better off waiting till next year?

Anyway, thanks a lot everyone! Hope to get some insightful replies.
