December scores

Okay, so collegeboard has Dec. 31 as the deadline to submit SAT score for Berkeley. I emailed their admissions office if I was safe sending in my december scores through regular sending and not rush reporting. They still haven't answered...and I can't find an admissions office number to call.

Anybody know if they recommend regular sending for December SAT scores?

send it regular. i asked all the ucs when i did the december test last year and it was fine that i did just regular score sending, assuming you ordered to send your score a few weeks ago (i think theres a 4 week time frame with collegeboard...i dont remember)

wait, so is that the date they have to receive the score, or the date they want it postmarked by? bc i'm taking the ACT this weekend and was just going to wait to see what i get (probably around dec. 25 or so, given the time it took last time) before sending them. is that ok?

also, they don't superscore, right?

Scores will be officially due in January. You need to send them in December, though, as that's the last testing date.

And no, they don't superscore.

ok, so i can view them before deciding as long as i send them by the end of dec? thanks kyle, you're really helpful with this stuff!

I believe so. =)

k, thanks!

What I did was take tests in December and viewed them before sending them out. If they were good, I did the fast (more expensive) method of getting them sent to the UCs I applied to. My ACT was good and that went priority. One SAT subject totally sucked, so I didn't send it, but I already had two that I sent pre-December.

I don't think you'd need to use the rush report service, though.

I agree. Most UCs take scores by e-mail; it would be a waste of money to rush scores.

Does any know if all the UCs accept rushed scores?
