Ok, so my parents missed the registration deadline for the Nov. 3 SAT II tests (biology and literature) so my guidance counselor told me to go as a standby. I was told that I shouldn't worry about getting a spot. I got a nasty shock today when the proctor said I couldn't take the tests because everyone who was registered showed up.

Now I have to take the subject tests in December. The college board people said that it will take about 3 weeks for the scores to reach with rush delivery. My problem is that the UC applications are due Nov. 30. Will the UC schools accept my late scores? Should I even bother applying. Please give my a reply-- I am freaking out!!!

Yeah, UCs will take them. On the application there'll be a spot where you'll write that you're taking the December SATs. Don't worry. December is the last SAT date the UCs will accept, though.

They will still take them. But since applications are due this month, in addition to the 4 schools collegeboard will send your scores to for free, if you apply to more, you need to pay the extra money for those schools. For my December subject tests, they're going to LA, Berkeley, Davis, and San Diego for free, but I had to pay extra money to have them sent to Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, and Riverside.

Did that make sense?

thank you so much for replying!!<3 I feel so much better now, lol.
