I have a 3.2 GPA at a very competitive small private high school
I have an 1830 SAT score
I am 1/8th native american with Documents to the tribe and 50 percent cuban
Great community service: Started a lacrosse program at an inner-city private school for underprivileged students. We raised money to get pads and equipment and then started the after school program and would coach the kids a few times a week.
I have many more great community service projects as well.
ECs: I have great ECs. I am a part of many clubs and a 4 year Varsity lacrosse player and captain.

I was wondering if I have a shot at a school that, academically I usually wouldn't be able to get into, but due to my Native American background Id have a shot.

here are the two situations I am mainly looking at:

I am being recruited by Swarthmore for lacrosse and I have sent my transcripts in and after talking to the coach, they said I made it past admissions as a possible candidate however I am low on the list due to mainly my GPA. He told me to go ahead and apply and he will try to push my through admissions as much as possible but it is not a guarantee by any means as there is a good shot I may or may not get in.

Secondly, being a native american, is it even worth applying to Dartmouth with my credentials? Granted that I have great community service as well as extra-curriculars that would provide me with the tools to write a compelling essay. I know this is a total long shot with the SAT and GPA I have, I just want to know if The Native American Card is worth anything.

what do you think would be my chances at getting into the 2 schools?
