Rank: 22/80
SAT Scores: 560 Reading, 510 Math, 500 Wring</p>

<p>High school doesn't offer AP. Took 6 Honors Classes throughout high school.</p>

<p>ECs:
National Technical Honor Society (2)
Varsity Golf Captain (4)
120 Hours of Community Service with Local Church
Working 2 jobs - 27 hours a week.</p>

<p>Hook: For senior year, my school has a program with the local county college where they allow you to take classes at the college for the whole year. This semester I am taking 15 credits and plan to take 15 more spring semester. Classes such as English Comp, Accounting 1, Chemistry.</p>

<p>I know my GPA and SATs aren't the greatest. Will the college classes this year help me at all ? I'm just hoping for Rutgers at this point, I think Penn State and Delaware are too high of a reach.</p>

<p>hey! i'm an nj resident too, so i'm going to judge you based on my own school's results...3.4 and 1570 should give you like an 70% chance at rutgers...make sure you submit your app early and as long as you don't have disciplinary problems you'll probably be in. good chance at penn state too, although udel is unlikely.</p>

<p>Thanks for the reply. Yeah I think Delaware is a long shot. Penn State was my first choice but I'm pretty doubtful now, just hoping for Rutgers at this point.</p>

<p>i think youd have a good chance at rutgers and maybe udel. im not sure about penn state but i heard they're pretty lenient too in all criterias so chances there are likely.</p>
