Deciding between SAT, ACT, Subject Tests

If you take SAT + Subject Tests : That will meet requirement for most colleges

If you take ACT with writing : Does that cover everything?

If you take SAT and ACT , you don't need Subject tests. Correct?

Is ACT accepted by most colleges?

Can someone give skinny on this?

Yes.

Depends. Some school still wants subject tests.

Depends. Same as 2.

Yes. Most if not all.

Depends which college you are planning to go to. Universities like Harvard require their applicants to take a SAT Subject Test. However, lower tiered schools like UF require only your ACT or SAT score.

ACT with writing is interchangable with the SAT at almost all colleges. However the SAT IIs don’t have a replacement. Some schools don’t require them but many do. If I were you, I’d take them just to be safe.

^ Many schools actually explicitly said either SAT1+2SAT2 or ACT with writing.
