Decision Batches

Hey everyone...NYU says they send out decisions in 2 batches with no set order...both having rejections and acceptances in them. For those USA applicants that received their decision already, can you check what date the envelope is postmarked? Is it December 12th? Anyone have an envelope postmarked before the 12th? Thanks

I don't know about the post-mark but my actual letter says the 9th. I hope that helps and good luck :)

Thanks JBursty but I think all letters will have the same date...only postmarks would differentiate.

My letter is postmarked and the letter says the 12th. I recieved it yesterday

where do you live VHS? Do you know if the postmarked 12th ones are the 1st batch?

I live in Northern New Jersey. Like 40 mins from the city

I have no idea if mine was in the first batch or the second. But JBursty said his letter says the 9th. So it mightbe the 2nd batch. I really dont no.

Mine was postmarked the 12th and I recieved it thursday.

I talked to a friend in NY, her's was postmarked the 9th and she received it Wed. I received my yesterday and it was postmarked the 12th.

Hmm, I live in Dallas, Texas and I received my acceptance on December 15th, the earliest NYU was said that applicants should start receiving their decisions. The envelope package was postmarked December 12th and I briefly scanned some of the paperwork in there and I think I saw one of the papers dated December 9th (I think it was concerning the first and second deposits, etc.) Good luck to all of you!
