Haha no, those are my initials :)

1995AB - My S has the same message. I think it just means that they have everything and we have to wait.

The bottom of the Where am I in the Process page says

…“decision and financial aid award information will not appear on this display until three days after the letters have been mailed to you.”

Let’s not read too much into all this. We will either receive a decision in the mail today or we can check online tomorrow.

Good luck to all!

what button? -_-

i am freaking out…

I am a bundle of nerves waiting for the online portal to update.
I just wanna know how much college will cost.

@hennebou: Thanks for the explanation. So the expected deposit for priority waitlister is $800 or $8000? And you will still be considered for your intended major (in your case SCS) correct? I heard sometimes CMU would suggest a new major or ask you to name a new major, if the orginal major/school you chose was too competitive for you to get in. Truth or myth?

i applied only for SCS…after looking at the acceptance rate for SCS ([8%](http://admission.enrollment.cmu.edu/pages/undergraduate-admission-statistics)) i am wishing i applied to additional schools like Dietrich which is easier to get into…

That makes no sense, if you want to do computer science, why would you apply to the college of arts and sciences?

thats like saying you applied for engineering at stanford and business at wharton and you’ll go wherever you get accepted

I doubt I’ll get my package today, but it’s at midnight tonight that we can check the portal, right?

Good point, @awkwardpenguin, what time would it be released online?

Fix1995, ive heard of people applying and getting into different schools at CMU and then transferring later when they have to start taking classes specificly for their major

Welp, I applied to IS, with an acceptance rate of 11.5%. Should’ve just applied to DC, with almost triple the acceptance rate. :P

@jason, according to [this comment](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/15682094-post78.html) its posted at midnight EST

i doubt its that easy to transfer from DC to SCS :-P

internal transfers can be extremely hard

so i’d say you guys have given it your best shot at the school of your choice, now just wait and watch and most of you will be admitted

Woo! Just got my letter today! :)

@rainingchexmix: yep, I’m pretty sure that’s what they do.

Fix1995,thx u sir for ur encouragement

^^ I think they send all the letters at once, Hennebou said he got a waitlist letter on page 8.

@luisarose do you live in the southeastern United States region?

Ds just got a large heavy envelope with a wire bound book if some sort in it. On the envelope it says “this is the official fat letter”

He’s going to video chat me soon so I can open it for him.
