When are the decisions told to us and how do we find out? Mail?

April 1st. Online if you applied online.

The time line is on the admission office's website. :)

Admission Information, Undergraduate Admission, U.Va.

Minor change this year: all students, regardless of how the application was filed, will see decisions online. In addition, the only way to accept/decline offers or the waitlist is online. The only way to pay your tuition deposit is online. So, if you haven't logged into Student Self-service yet, find the email that was sent to you with your login info and get in there!

I have not yet received an email with my login info in it. I'm worried that something might have happened with my application. What should I do?

First, if you didn't put uvaapplicationinfo@virginia.edu on your safe senders list (just add it to your address book), do that now. This is on our application instructions page, but we realize that many never read the instructions. While you're at it, check your spam/junk folder to make sure your login email did get funneled there.

You should also go into your Common App account and [url=http://uvaapplication.blogspot.com/2008/12/reminder-check-your-common-app-status.html]verify that you submitted all three components of the application/url.

If you submitted all three components and don't have a login email, you can email the address listed above. Put your name and DOB in the subject line.
