Decision day

Altruition… You sound like a good fit for Cornell. :)

Just kidding! (Terrible joke, I’m sorry.)

@Prussia!: HAHA yes that was sort of terrible.
( :

Hahah Prussia!

And btw, does the financial aid information come with the admissions decision?

team-- yes, FA information comes in the admission packet.

Oh Prussia…NOT funny…yet…I must admit…it was EXACTLY my first thought. I guess the saying should be changed to “SICK minds think alike”.

That is so odd that they’re giving them out at separate times. If EST gets them at 5 PM their time, that means I’ll get mine three hours later. o.O

Bah! I just happened upon this thread in my anxious internet-surfing and read back a few pages… LOL at the Cornell comment, terrible as it is. Killing yourself over college decisions is a little extreme. I applied ED with high expectations and got deferred, so this time I’m going into D-day expecting nothing – I’ll be thrilled to get in and if not, life goes on. Look at it that way :)

^ Such a positive outlook. I’m so pessimistic. -_-

How is it that they’ll send the decisions at different timings? According to the email I received, I’d be getting at way before anyone in the US does.
(I’m an international student)

Anyone?

char10

It’s won’t be at 5 pm your local time! It’s 5 pm EST. That was probably a mistake.

If the email says 5 pm your local time, it WILL be at 5 pm YOUR local time… Not a mistake… :)

Brown’s official website says 5 pm EST though. On their homepage.

The homepage is not updated by the Admissions Office, while the emails we receive are… The homepage says the same thing since the beginning of the year, while the email we received was last week… :)

Ahhh ok. Cool, thanks! I’m glad I won’t have to stay up till 2:30 AM.

You still will be anyway for other college decisions, silly goose!

You’re welcome… Just make sure you can log in to the web site beforehand… :)

@ DC: I’m not planning to though!

You’ll be around though at odd hours I guess. :D

thy: Yeah, haha, I will. :)

@Quasi: You make absolutely no sense. Why would I be around at odd hours?! And why aren’t you planning to be awake supah late?

Weeeeeeell, I don’t know! Cause I’d only do that for Amherst. sticks nose in air

You’d be around at odd hours in future-time…it would be a normal hour in US-time!
