So today I found out I have received a full ride to Loyola college in Maryland. Previously I couldn't decide between Villanova BC and Will and Mary but was leaning toward BC. My parents were going to pay as much as they could of BC but now they have told me they will give me a years tuition at BC if I take the scholarship and go to Loyola. How is their business program? Is BC's program worth the 200,000 dollars I wont have to pay if I go to Loyola? Will the opportunities from BC be worlds ahead of Loyolas? Thank you as this decision is very difficult for me. So Loyola for free or one of my expensive other schools?

Hell no. Go to Loyola. BC may be the better school, and that means you'll probably need to work harder for certain opportunities, but a choice between spending $200,000 or doing a little more networking and working a little harder is no choice at all.

depends. If you want to major in accounting, by all means go to Loyola. If you want to do finance, see the job placement record.

I'm deciding whether or not the $50,000 a year at BC's business school is worth it or not

nygmen, I am in the same boat as you

I visited Loyola today and it's okay, I am going to Boston next weekend. How is Loyola academically, I really don't know whether it is known at all or what it's strengths are. I did want to go Boston and Loyola was just a safety school. Going to Loyola also means my parents will be able to pay for my graduates school which I would have had to do on my own if I had gone to Boston.
