Decision News!!

"Congratulations to the students admitted to the Class of 2011! Decision letters were mailed on March 23 and financial aid awards will be mailed by March 30. We had an 8.4% increase in applications and this year?s pool was the largest and most talented in Lafayette?s history.

Decisions on our academic scholarships have been made and congratulatory letters to the recipients were mailed on March 14. The competition was incredibly keen and the task of selecting these scholars was both rewarding and difficult. We applaud the scholarship recipients for their outstanding performance and hope they choose to come to Lafayette! Notifications of scholar awards were mailed by the Financial Aid Office on March 21."

Mailed today, huh? Good to know! We're waiting anxiously!

I am international, it will take a lot of time, to letter get here.

I GOT IN!!! just received the email yesterday!
BTW,Lafayette seems to have emailed all international students who are admitted...

I have not received any email. Could it be possible that email is sent only to those international who are admitted, not to all of them, also if rejected?

Only international admits get the email and mail notification, everyone else gets mail

i live in NJ, do you think that ill get it today??! ahhh sooo nervous!

No probably Monday. The only people who will probably get it today are people who live really close to Lafayette.

Darn! Nothing from Lafayette today... but a nice acceptance from Gettysburg! :D

o well..Monday it is...congrats NJres!

so does that mean if we have not heard from the school that no merit or scholar awards should be expected? i know that financial aid awards come at a later date.

I have a question about housing. I'm trying decide between Ruef and South and haven't visited either? The question is which is better for freshman. How much of a party dorm is South. Fun or wild and noisy to the extent a student might wish they lived somewhere else. Also, how much of a hassle is it to move out during the interim session in January. What are other distinquishing factors. Thanks for your input!

:) Accepted in CT.

My neighbor's daughter got her acceptance today in Maryland.
