decision time?

Anybody here know exactly when the regular decision letters will be mailed, or decisions posted online?

Thanks!

mailed on April 28th 5:00 ET

what.. the decisions will be mailed on april
r u sure

ohh sorry. typo. march 28th

oh ok...

how do we find out abt the decisions... online, email or regular mails

ED results were posted on line, so I would think the RD decisions would also be posted on line. You will also get a letter in the mail

so they are being posted on the application status website at 5 on march 28? how do u know?

no...they won't be online until the 30th. they will be mailed march 28th. I know this because I spoke with an admissions office (Denise Walden) a couple weeks ago.

do you know what time they will be on?

Last year the decisions were posted as of 5PM. Came up right away, the servers held up with no problem in spite of the onslaught. Best of luck to everyone!

I didn't receive the mail with username and password :-( it may have gone lost :-(
Do they inform via email, I mean to those who are admitted, or only check online ?

has anyone heard frm colby

The Colby Rep said in the other forum today: "At this point, there's really no amount of any new information that will affect a student's candidacy-- we're in a whirlwind of proofing letters, stuffing envelopes and triple-checking lists to make sure that we can get all the letters out tomorrow afternoon as planned. It's probably the toughest thing to ask of our applicants now, but please bear with us and be patient as we finish up our work and make preparations for the mailing of roughly 4,500 decisions."

So I guess that means they are being mailed on Wednesday!

Found out i was rejected this weekend after a call from the admissions office. My top choice too. O well.

Hey nordicskiracer.

Sorry about the rough news. There are plenty of amazing schools out there where I'm sure you'll find yourself happier than you could've imagined (I got rejected from my first choice, and now feel that "settling" for a lesser choice was actually a better option than if I had gotten into/attended my 1st choice).

Have you got other options?

Yes, plenty of options. I'm 5/7 so it's all set. Thanks for the sympathy though.

awesome, congrats! 5/7 is sic. Do you have any idea of where you'll be headed next year?

accepted but the aid wasn't as good as i thought it would be..

are the decisions online?

How do you view the decisions? I haven't received any email from Colby(:()
