Oh my gosh - son in at Skidmore! Can't believe it. Letter said him and 35 others will start in London and then return in the spring. All I know is son is very happy and what a great opportunuity. An Economic degree from Skidmore with a semester in London. Dad is a very happy and very very proud man today. That's my boy!

congratulations jollymom! we are still waiting to hear in upstate ny...

I'm in! YAY!

And then I was waitlisted at Vassar. But what surprised me was that Skidmore's acceptance rate was lower than Vassar's. What's up with that?

Congratulations for your son jollymom! From your posts it sounds like Skidmore has been your son's #1. I'm happy for all the others that have heard good news, too.

Nothing in our mailbox from them today. Looks like we'll be waiting until Monday to hear.

My s was waitlisted. Can't believe Skidmore's acceptance rate was lower than Vassar's.

Ayone who was waitlisted, or for your child, what are their stats?

jollymon - Congratulations! I am so, so happy. I recall the stress the ED deferral caused your family; I am so pleased to hear the fabulous news. My son got in, too.

Rejected. I wanted to go there so bad...

Thank you all so much! I really mean it. Congrats to all who got in. All the stress and waiting was worth it. Wife and I are on a conference this weekend and we just went out for a couple drinks to celebrate. I am sure I saw a tear in the eye of my usually unemotional wife. Taking a nap as the relief of this longhall is setting in. Again, thanks to all! And, for all the great advise!

waitlisted...I'm really disappointed, Skidmore was one of my top choices.

waitlisted and def staying on
