No, he has an out.

5:06pm Tuesday (CDT) - Time in Evanston, Illinois

Northwestern isn't an Ivy you know, it is in the Central Time Zone.

AH. I thought he meant EST. lol

....soooo.... rejected from rice anyone else?

i really hope nu's going to be different...dream school and all that...

Yayy, I was rejected from Rice too. Lol, life sucks but maybe ill get into NU. But rice was my dream school but hey life goes on.

So today or tomorrow? What's the consensus? And if it's tomorrow do we think in the morning, afternoon or evening?

i would be so amazingly ecstatic if i get into northwestern

More likely tomorrow than today, and if it is tomorrow its probably going to come out early in the morning or 5-6 pm

ugh i'm hoping i wake up to a nice acceptance letter. i have a feeling there are going to be a lot of waitlists...

I better make NU after my MIT rejection and RPI waitlist.

crosses his fingers 4.00UW GPA and 32 on the ACT gets him into the EE program

And I bet the email won't be tonight. Just saying...

yeah, i'm pretty sure we would have already received the email. oh well, here's to hoping for tomorrow morning!

Just verifying - NU has a tendency to release decisions early in the morning, right? Was that just for ED or was it like that for RD last year too?

(Sorry, I know this was probably clarified on an earlier page, but I'm way too braindead to scroll through these 16 pages...)

I'm hoping for an afternoon decision. Then I can celebrate or sulk on my own before I have to face school the next day

Looks like its not 6PM CT either. Agh.

"We’re sorry, but your Gmail account is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes."

ARGH. Any Gmail users ever get that message while continuously refreshing their inboxes and get the urge to throw something at the computer?

What gives em190?????

Damn, I was really hoping for a decision tonight too.

em190, what does your Seventh Sense say?

Either...
A. Their mail server thinks its in the past
or
B. Decisions do not come out today

:D

@em190: It's past 6PM Central time. If I were you, I'd stop putting so much faith in that sixth sense of yours.
